The men that came to us for the pack and removal in Feburary were superb. The requirements were complex and difficult in many areas. The packing was all done to a particularly high standard, and we were impressed by the expertise that came into play when furniture was dismantled. We used a hoist lift for much of the time meaning the stairs were taken out of the equation. I have used Clapham Removals many times before and have always found them to be professional, polite and hardworking. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

It was vital that we fragile-pack and wrap all of the artwork, artefacts and furniture before using a hoist lift to get everything to street level for loading. Some items were delicate; some, very old and important objets d'art. Using 5 men and a 12 metre hoist lift each day, there were over 200 boxes to pack and label; antique furniture to dismantle and wrap; and fine art to protect and load. Although we were only moving the client 300 yards to the new address, a leafy square off The Kings Rd, we took the same care as would be demanded by an export wrap in order to minimise risk of damage. At the other end we assembled all of the pieces of furniture and unpacked and positioned everything as required.
