Requirements
The client needed to move everything into storage as there was an interim between completions. Packing was required and there was an upright piano included in the items to move. As the move was booked in with little time to spare, we were unable to get parking suspended with Wandsworth council, meaning we had to be creative in how we got a space; using a combination of the client's car, some bins and a bit of yellow line. The first day was spent fragile wrapping (plenty of paintings and mirrors) and packing up, before semi-delivering to storage. The second day, we removed the balance. The piano was moved using a special quilted cover and a piano trolley. We did also have to take the front door off it's hinges in order to get the oversize American fridge out! We were able to clear the house by 12.30 meaning there was no delay for the incoming purchaser at completion time. All items were unloaded into our Clapham-based storage facility ready for the removal out when needed.
